My Mother-in-law.

I did, of course, have to prove that I was worthy of being Andy's wife! Once we had ascertained that I really was 'here to stay', Edna and I formed a bond that only the women who had married Coleman men could understand. We found that we had a lot in common, we liked crafting and she taught our daughter Kelly to do quilling. We liked cooking and often, when I was at her house, I would look through her magazines to see which pages she had turned over so that we could discuss the recipes that she was interested in trying. Later on in life, when Vic had been in hospital for a heart operation, it became my routine to visit them every Friday for a chat and a cup of tea. After Vic's death, I continued to visit Edna and we would often go on shopping trips or just out to lunch to Cafe Rouge in Sevenoaks, she said that she liked to watch the world go by from there. This continued until she went to live in Bristol. I developed a great love for Edna and I think she felt the same way. For me, she was just like a mum should be and I miss her very much. \Love you, Chrissie xx
